William H. Arters

William “Bill” Arters is survived by his daughter, Wendy Arters and son-in-law, Yilmaz Tasci, and his grand-daughter, Marion Elizabeth Smoot.  His brother, Robert (Joyce) Arters and his nieces and nephews. All will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth and devoted daughter, Jody Arters. 

Bill enjoyed being with his family. He even did more things with them when his precious granddaughter, Marion, was born. Marion brought out the best in her grandfather. 

Bill enjoyed the mountains and his family hunting cabin that he helped build with his father. He would go hunting every year with his brother and cousins. 

He loved carpentry and woodworking and made many beautiful  things. He was very creative. One Halloween, he made a Darth Vader mask and chest plate worn by his daughter Wendy. His other daughter, Jody, went as Princess Leia. The costumes won in multiple Halloween parades.

Bill’s faith was strong and he lived his life close to God. He was a good man, father, grandfather, and husband. Dear dad, we hope that you, mom and Jody are all together enjoying laughs and good times in heaven. We love you! We miss you ALL!

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the mausoleum of St. Agnes Cemetery, 1050 Pottstown Pike, West Chester.
