Frederick E. Coffey

Frederick E. Coffey, 88, of Malvern, formerly of Yardley, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at his residence.
 
Born in Bristol, PA, Frederick was the son of the late Emmett and Kathryn (Sprague) Coffey. He was the dear husband of the late Joanne M. (Schumack) Coffey, who passed away in 2017, after almost 58 years of marriage.
 
A graduate of Drexel University, where he met Jo, Fred enjoyed his career as a mechanical engineer. He also used his many skills to complete home projects. He loved spending time with his family, reading and completing jigsaw puzzles. Since moving to Malvern, he enjoyed listening to online classes through Delaware Valley University, watching "Modern Marvels" and "Monk", and, of course, being around his kids and grandchildren.
 
Frederick is survived by his children: Laura Coffey (Joseph Duff) of Toms River, NJ, Kathy Entwisle of Malvern, Michael Coffey (Kim) of Yardley, PA, Amy Ritter (Matt) of Downingtown, Allison Coffey of Malvern, and Chris Coffey (Stacie) of Glen Mills; his grandchildren: Clint, Annie, Michael, Mitchel, Mallory, Emily, Van, Lilly, and Anna; and one sister, Mary Jane Liles, of St. Augustine, FL.
 
Services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
